The ABLE TO CHOOSE campaign is designed to enrich the lives of Virginians with developmental and other disabilities in the areas of education, employment, housing, early intervention, transportation, recreation, and community integration.

Please contact the campaign to arrange for interviews or events with campaign representatives, with and without disabilities, who are excited to demonstrate how Virginians with disabilities of all types and degree can and do live successfully in communities of their own choice when individually appropriate services and supports are available to them.

Campaign spokespersons are prepared to discuss ABLE TO CHOOSE with media representatives, community leaders, and organizations. Spokespersons are seeking a change in individual attitudes and actions, business practices, and community and civic activities to make all aspects of community life inclusive, accessible, and welcoming to people with disabilities.
